I have not written much since my pain got worse but remembered I had some poems I wrote before. This one in particular I wrote for Isis when she was crying and has a special meaning for me. Since you two ladies asked for a poem, hope you like this one even though it may sound a bit sad.

My Child's Tears

Hush my child don't you cry
Let me wipe those tears away
This bad dream will soon fly
Leaving no trace of it behind

Please don't feel that you're alone
Daddy loves you and wants you home
Any terror of the night he will fight
With all his love and might

Please don't fret my child
Tomorrow will soon come
Bringing the sunshine again
With birds to sing a song for you

Let the sun kiss your sweet face
It will scatter the clouds away
Bringing a smile to light the day
With Daddy and those who love you by your side

Thank you Judy and Mckeowp for taking the time to read it.

The situation has not changed much from what it was in the beginning Judy. Although in a way our situation was different from yours and Mckeownp, we certainly hurt when they hurt. In our case, I could not compare it at all to both of yours. All I can do is write what I feel to see my sweetie hurting and being unable to make it completely change and hope that our prayers are answered for them to be one day change for the better.

I am sure that many of the caregivers here also wish their prayers would be answered soon and their loved one tears wiped too.

I will hopefully be writing some more later on, or post some of my unpublished ones as soon as the cloud surrounding me evaporates.
