9 year old guad found dead

This story is just so horrific. I hope this little girl has found peace now.

I'm convinced that there is a special kind of hell waiting for people who would do something like this to a disabled child. Or any child for that matter. May she rest in peace.

This is horrific, and makes me hope the belief in Karma is true. May whoever did this be re-born as a cockroache standing next to a can of Raid....

Bless her heart, this is horrible! The worst part is knowing she couldn't get away and not being able to put up a fight.I just can't imagine.

The mother, if you can call her that has been arrested and charged.

The poor little girl. It sounds to me like she was a quad due to a first attempt on her life.
I usually try to understand why people do things, and to have compassion for their being forced to their actions, or thinking that they are forced into them, but this goes way beyond any line I might draw.
I'd be in the front rank of those throwing the stones for this one.

And the poor little thing had a feeding tube... couldn't even enjoy a piece of pizza and a cupcake. Hope she's in a better place now.

not surprised that her family is responsible. being a child makes one vulnerable enough, add being non verbal, disabled and dependent upon abusive caregivers in a society that devalues the lives of disabled children and your chances of making it to adulthood are next to nil.

I bet they refused to put her in some sort of facility, which may have sucked but would have kept her alive. They probably told people "We could never let her be placed in a "home". Meanwhile her adoptive mother was plotting how to continue receiving her benefits after killing her.

I pray this little one is at peace, frolicking with bunnies and pink and purple unicorns in a sparkly rainbow land. And that her "mother" will be granted endless years of the polar opposite, a long lonely sentence of misery and boredom, right here on Earth.

Execution is too good for this animal. If the "mother" did in fact paralyze the girl as an infant by attempting to suffocate her, I hope whomever was charged with the responsibility of deciding to return her home will be investigated and fired.

Sen, my cousin bore a child that was a nonverbal quad from birth, could never swallow. They kept her at home as long as they could, until my cousin's severe scoliosis wouldn't allow her to care for Rachel properly. She died at about the same age as this child but lived much longer than was expected...like 9 times longer. All the family still tend her grave and mourn her. My cousin cried so hard when she showed me Rachel's photo album. And believe me, there are no saints n my family!

So I don't think this girl's chance of survival was nil. She had the misfortune to be born in a pack of wolves.
