    Two different sales approaches.

    I approached two well known sports for crips suppliers for wheels for The Beast. One found a set of Halls wheels they had lying about and is looking for someone to make pushrims for them.

    The other went into a flying fit, demanding to know why I wanted to spend 575 on wheels for a “10 year old piece of junk” and did I really know what I was doing and if I was REALLY serious about racing I should go ahead and spend almost 3 grand on a new Top End and to call him RIGHT NOW!

    WTF?? I felt like I had been “hot boxed” in my own study. Does this happen very often with suppliers? I thought dealing with Ebay was a pain, JEEZE!

    Anyone else have a hard sell approach done to them?
