  • Curious/personal question

I was just wondering if anyone else doesn't wear deodorant. I haven't bought a stick in almost 30 yrs, in high school after p.e. class I'd shower and be in such a rush to get to my class I'd forget to put in on, after awhile I just stopped bothering all together. So since some of us don't sweat why would we need to. I hope I get some comments cuz this is something I've always pondered lol.

I don't use it and this isn't a flag for sillyJeff to comment.

If you don't eat red meat and do eat lottsa fruits and veggies, you won't have much body odor. There's another plus to that kind of diet as well.

Since you like silly songs... and pay close attention to the last line.

As for the original question.. I still wear deodorant even tho' my pits don't sweat. I'd imagine a para probly should.

        Whiskey bottles and brand new cars;
oak tree you're in my way.
There's too much coke and too much smoke
Look what's going on inside you.

        CHORUS-
        Ooh, ooh that smell
        Can't you smell that smell?
        Ooh, ooh that smell
The smell of death surrounds you.

        Yeah.
Angel of darkness is upon you.
Stuck a needle in your arm (you, fool, you)
So take another toke, have a blow for your nose,
one more drink, fool, would drown you. (hell, yeah)

        CHORUS

Now they call you prince charming.
Can't speak a word when you're full of 'ludes.
Say you'll be alright come tomorrow, but
tomorrow might not be here for you. (yeah, you)

        CHORUS

        Aw, you, fool, you.
You stick them needles in your arm
I know I been there before.

One little problem that confronts you,
got a monkey on your back.
Just one more fix, Lord, might do the trick.
One hell of a price for you to get your kicks. (hell, yeah)

        CHORUS 2x

        Oh, you, fool, you
Don't stick those needles in your arm.
You're just a fool, just a fool, just a fool.

People don't really notice their own B.O. unless it gets really bad. I barely sweat but I still get funky, my kids have no problem telling me that! I'm sticking with the deo.

WelP, Jukie got that one right. A good diet and your 'smell' is pretty much non-existent. Started being a veegan in late 98 and up until recently, I stuck with it 100 %. Now I occasionaly eat meat. I have a stick of deoderant over there that I bought a few years back and it's about 50% there.

I'm a para and it took me years before my right armpit started sweating, my left did a little. I rarely notice an odor and it's when I slip in my diet and do heavy exercise. I swear it smells like a hamburger, grilled. I have a nose like a bloodhound. I also have people around me and they say no odor. It's something I am aware of because of my heightened sense of smell, I don't want to offend anyone..... er, more than I do already

I stopped using it after the accident. Saves me a few $$.

Someone may claim to be a vegetarian w/o being one.

I'll go without it a lot. Only one armpit sweats now, and even then, it's tolerable most of the time.

I use spray deodorant only when I go somewhere as well as cologne. So I guess when I'm home I enjoy smelling. I kid I don't.
