    non-permanent stairlift

Since I'm having to move out of my current only-somewhat-accessible-but-at-least-all-one-floor pad and the rental market in my city is brutal at best (even when not restricted to single-level properties) at the moment, I'd love it if I could find something that somehow (I have no idea how) didn't have to be bolted into the ground. I've Googled a bit and haven't really found anything close. Does such a thing exist that anyone is aware of? If not, short of "move into an apartment" or "just stay on the main floor", anyone have any creative ways of combatting one of the the wheelchair's (or my wheelchair anyway) most significant design flaws.. the inability to climb stairs?
