Do such things exist? I have a door that leads out to my patio door at my apartment. I rarely use it, but would probably use it more if I could get in/out independently. Are there inexpensive door openers that could be used? I have a door opener on my primary door.

All electronic door openers are going to be expensive. Have you looked for second-hand?
