Guys! I had my first sushi experience today!! i loved it.
I had the cali rolls and salmon rolls with wasabi, ginger, and I think it was soy sauce it tasted very saulty. I had them rolled out and the texture and taste was awesome! Are you suppose to eat the whole roll at once? cause i just jacked the whole thing in my mouth. I can't wait to go down to state college and try more advanced ones, cdause this resturant didn't have very much of a selection.

I never managed to cram a whole one in my mouth at once. It just doesn't work for my small mouth. The Wasabi will open up your sinuses for you.

I love wasabi. I use it on everything at home Yum. I'm serious, you'v got to try the quail eggs. They're so pretty sitting there and they're yummy.

As far as cramming it in my mouth. I always have a napkin at hand to cover my maw while I chew.

hah I don't have massive mouth either, and they weren't that big, I just was afraid to bite half of it and it all fall apart and all the japense people would laugh at me and call me a crippple face :P

If they have quail eggs i'll have to try them! Does it taste like swallowing raw eggs?

My g/f wants me to try the eel, for me not liking sea food that much I sure do love sushi! wee!

I can't eat it anymore, too much iodine in the seaweed, lights my thyroid up like a Christmas tree. I really miss it...

The wasabi/ginger/soy sauce is the best taste combo ever. I love how wasabi blows the brains out the back of my head too.

is that at SCI related problem? I've heard of iodine deficiency causing goiter, but I guess that's the opposite.

Nah, it's from Graves disease, I don't think SCI related. It's my immune system going crazy, attacking my thyroid, which makes the thyroid overactive. I have a bit of a goiter. It's mainly caused by stress I think (and that could be the SCI connection!)

I'm trying to starve it out by restricting iodine.
