    Leif, the moose looks awesome!

We used to raise and butcher out our own meats when I was a kid. I miss good meats. Grocery store crap just doesn't cut it.

We did get the announcement card for Farm to Market Pork in the mail today. They are doing their sale which means there will be a fresh Flathead Valley hog in my freezer in about a month!

Bring on the roasts and pulled pork sammiches!!

      Shipping.

...yes, the pic was August. Even the locals were surtprised by the snow. When the propane froze we thought we'd have to hike out early. But then it thawed enough to finish out our week in Denali, which gave us enough time for the melt to recede. Would have really complicated the river crossings, since I can't stand up to a strong wind, let alone an overly brisk current.
There are two problems with getting the salmon shipped from Albertsons. One it that, although they have a few "Online Stores", I'm sure that they only ship locally. The other is that, as the items are frozen, shipping over any distance becomes a problem. I posted the thread while half awake this morning. I am still glad to have posted it as I like to take any opportunity to suggest anternatives to all stocked and farmed animals to all who eat animal protein. I hope you are enjoying your winter.

Okay you two ... I've already offered to get a room for DA and Leschinsky. I guess, in true CC fairness, I should make the same offer for you, too.

Is it already spring or something?

You do have a most interesting brain, Jukespin. Most interesting indeed.

                  Thanks, I think, Mary Ellen.

I've had a few call me multifaucted; I think the light from a few empty cells had refracted back into their eyes.

                  Your kinda interesting yourself.

                    It was a compliment, Steve.

Thank you for yours as well.
