Look what greeted me this morning. Eggs on toast with ham; not only one but two double yolkers. What fortune!π
We have been buying trays of eggs from the local vegetable shop where previously we bought from the supermarket. These are from open litter raised chooks, not free range but better cared for, unlike that cruel industrial cage production lark.
These eggs are well coloured, have firm shells and are from an egg farm in Tuakau. (J) size jumbos with more than their share of double yolkers- a tray of 18 for NZ$7. Gotta be cheap.
