I read somewhere that red wine might help lower blood pressure. Anyone tried this? I don't want to make annoying dietary changes, I don't like taking medication, and I can't really exercise - but I definitely like wine, so it's a win-win if it works.

A small amount might lower your blood pressure a teeny bit but more is not better. Read this from the Mayo clinic: http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-c...e/art-20046974You will find a guide to preserving shoulder function @

Wine has been associated with a number of health benefits when drunk in moderation. (2glasses per day for men, 1 for women) And it is antibacterial. And chocolate is associated with some health benefits. It is sugar that is a problem. As for healthy stuff not tasting good, I think preparation is the often problem. For example, I hate cooked collard greens. But collardslaw made with raw greens is just as good as coleslaw made with cabbage. You will find a guide to preserving shoulder function @
