    I had blackeyed pea's, collard greens and cornbread for New Year's dinner.

    I also grew up on kraut either eating cold or cook in a pan with hotdog winnies, but
    my favorite is fried cabbage with a little onion in bacon grease. I guess the fried cabbage
    is a southern thing. LOL
