I actually went out and bought some 1600 mg cranberry pills because of this thread.

Have you guys noticed a major reduction in UTI's?

A multi every other day or every few days. Every day makes my urine real yellow. This seems to be a waste of money and hard on my body to me since I'm passing the vitamin.

Bone health every night that I can remember. IIRC I have a mix of cal/mag/vita d but I can't remember for sure.

That's a great idea. To have all the vitamins and minerals in one pack.

I have to try something different. I've been taking the protien steady and eating properly. The gains were great. I felt really good for a while. And the way I was putting on mass made me feel better about myself, as I looked better. Than it started to slow. And I've lost much of the mass I've gained. It really disapointed me because I worked my ace off for those gains. I'm stronger and continue to become stronger but the mass isn't coming along with it now like it was. I'm not quitting but I've lost a little drive.

I think that may be the problem. I'm now able to lift heavier at more reps for a longer period of time. The amount of calories may not be enough to equal the energy burnt. It already seems like I eat all day. I bought some Boost high protien drinks but have only tried one so far. Way too expensive to drink regularly. I can't eat too much at a time. It's not like I can choose when to drop the kids off at the pool.

Imight -- Knock on wood, we haven't faced a UTI since he started taking the cranberry pills. Could be the added Vitamin C in them too (or the big galss of water he downs with them). If they're hard on your stomach, try taking them at meal time.

As an FYI per my experience -- Make sure you let your doctors know of any supplements and OTC meds you take. I learned last summer some can cause potential problems during surgery and for recovery afterwards if taken pre-operatively. My surgeon wanted me off all supplements for a minimum of a week before surgery. Until then I had always seen vitamins and supplements as benign.

As for what I take on a daily basis: women's multi-vitamin; cranberry tabs; fish oil supplement; extra vitamin C; extra vitamin A; extra vitamin E.
