    Now that my pain problems have more or less stabilized, I would like to get into strength and endurance training. In the next couple of months I'll be looking at available equipment (although I'm too broke to buy any, really) that I can use for strength training.

    In the meantime, I'd like to start with some floor or matt exercizes. I still have enough pain problems that I can't do situps, and I can barely do them anyway (L1) and I can't balance on my knees well enough to do pushups. So I'm woefully uninformed of what else is available that I might be able to do. I'll try anything twice. Any suggestions?
