Does anyone use a functional trainer / home gym? Is it worth it?

I'm looking at this https://www.fitnesszone.com/product/...l-trainer.html and thinking it could help me get better range of motion and improve my strength in many areas and offer multiple possibilities for improvements. It would decrease the space in my already tight workout room but at the same time might be worth having this gym available to me on a daily basis, I'm torn. Appreciate anyone's experience with one of these and opinions. Thank you.

I use one, but not at home. It's good for me. If you are not in a hurry, I'd suggest searching for used equipment (Craigslist, Neighborhood, EBay, etc). Exercise equip tends to get purchased on impulse and then sold for pennies on the dollar when good intentions fade..

It allows me to work some muscle groups better than I could without the machine (just using free weights and elastic bands at home). I lost access to it early in the Covid lock-down and clearly lost some strength.

That stinks that you lost access, hopefully you can get back to it. I imagine using it also improves your range of motion?
