Just got my new myocycle in yesterday. Can’t wait to get going on it. Anyone else have one. It is a lot different than the rti but I love it

Thanks. I looked up the site and requested info. I used a RT300 for years at our local outpatient. This one looks less complicated with better leg support. Did you buy it or did insurance pay for it? I have good Workers Comp. but if it sells at a reasonable cost;I'd just self pay.

It is about 9000 I believe. I got insurance to pay. Tell them you can’t get to the outpatient to use it because of pandemic. Your doc has to write a letter telling all the benefits of use.Good luck

I also want to put in a plug for the Myocycle. I've only been using mine for a short time and my quads have doubled in size. It's extremely easy to use. And things get more interesting every time you use it. I have enough muscle, now, that I can pedal hard enough to really increase my breathing. There's a Power readout on the touch screen that tells you how hard you're pedaling. Mine just keeps going up!

I have one, I love it, and the support is excellent. If anything goes wrong they are responsive and helpful and really fast.

I have one, too. Nice and streamlined cycle, and much easier to use for untrained folks that help me. Cheaper price tag doesn’t hurt, either! It also has a nice look to it, and doesn’t appear to be nearly as clinical as the RTI.

Do any of you get AD from the stim cycle? I am T3/4 and I'm getting AD using the RT300 in therapy. I also tried Myocyn last winter at a different clinic and I don't recall getting AD nearly as much using that system.

I don’t get AD from either one, but I can imagine that the Myocycle might be a little bit more forgiving. Fewer channels, after all.

For what it’s worth, I also like the idea that the Myocycle seems much closer to some thing I might one day operate independently than the RTS. Probably a pipe dream, but a man can wish!

I am a C6. I have only gotten AD from SP tube blockages before I started intermittent cathing, and once from driving directly into a sunset immediately after transferring to the drivers seat. Some thing about the combination of blinding light and suddenly sitting really upright did it for me.

Thanks ej, so it would appear AD is VERY rare for you so that would makes sense that you don't get it on a stim cycle
