The MSKTC (Model Systems Knowledge Translation Center) has released a suite of resources to help people understand the importance of exercise and remaining fit after SCI, which you can access for free at this site:

They are available to answer questions, provide education, and make suggestions which you should always discuss with your physician/primary health care provider before implementing.
