thanks for sharing this John! This thing looks like a game-changer for me. Since I started working full-time I haven't found (made) the time to go to the gym at all. This is affordable for home use and by all accounts provides a great workout.

brent k, its more of an HIIT workout, really gets the heart pumping and gets my bi's, shoulders and traps tight and pumped. i use qa vitaglide for cardio. what i like is the way it hits my rear delts and upper back.i like doing the 30/30 intervals. 30 sec sprint/ 30 sec rest. after 10-15 sets my arms are screaming.
tip, be sure and bolt to the wall and dont get the stand.
thing is built very well.

Those are active hands d-ring grips. Purchase separately

Are you using the new version Vitaglide John, or the old version? Now that the shoulders are so shot, I'm looking for something that'll eventually take the place of handcycling. I like the powerpod so I can ride for miles and still give the shoulders a rest. The Stricker is efficient but can't give the shoulders rest if needed. It's a shame Stricker can't be programmed to be something other than just pedal assist to give the shoulders a break yet continue on riding like the power pod does. Going on 43 years hand cycling and sure hate thinking I may have to wuit.
I've got the pro Vita GLide but would like to find something that'll do the other muscle groups as well. It may be my VG is wearing out after 11 years so have been checking out their new version.
