  • Best brace for foot turned inward?

Do you know the paralyzed feet, how they turn inward (invert?). They are beginning to hurt. Barring orthopedic surgery (which is available), has anybody used any braces/splints/whatever they would recommend?

Correcting a deformity/contracture with a splint may or may not be possible. You should be evaluated for this by a good PT and orthotist. Prevention by doing daily ROM, standing, using proper foot support (shoes) and positioning when in your wheelchair are the best interventions prior to a contracture like this developing.
