The SCI-Nurses are advanced practice nurses specializing in SCI/D care. They are available to answer questions, provide education, and make suggestions which you should always discuss with your physician/primary health care provider before implementing. Medical diagnosis is not provided, nor do the SCI-Nurses provide nursing or medical care through their responses on the CareCure forums.

Thanks for the help everyone. I found recently that wheelchair boxing has helped me get a pretty good workout. I do this at a local gym with a personal trainer.
Now, I have had trouble with weight loss from nutrition. It seems that no matter how little carbs I eat, I still don't see any pounds lost. I am losing inches, since my clothes are getting looser and I have had to tighten my ostomy belt even more, but the number never seems to move on the scale. Any advice?
