New social network for SCI
Hi Everyone,
As you may know, Project Walk is as much about providing “hope” as it is about a path to recovery. While we understand that it is not always possible to travel to our facility, we believe our mission goes beyond traditional therapy, and we are constantly finding new ways to help people recover. We believe it’s important for people to understand they are not alone, which is why I am excited to announce the first social network dedicated to connecting people affected by paralysis.
Project Walk Connect is the first social network that allows users to discuss and share their recovery. Beyond that, our hope is for this online community to serve as a central location for support.
The best part is Project Walk Connect is completely free to join and allows users to create their own profile, upload pictures, videos, promote their own events, and connect with groups of people just like themselves. Moms, dads, brothers and sisters, friends, therapists, caregivers, and supporters of the SCI community are welcome and will find a place within Project Walk Connect.
