What workout did you do today?

    Great to hear that other folks are fighting the good fight and seeking their own bliss

    Took a rest day after returning from Ouray yesterday. I know I'm weaker than I used to be, and sometimes I just need more time for my body to recover than before. Did yoga, stretching, pushups, and some other core exercises.

    My five days in the ice park last Monday - Friday were a lot of fun. I shared a place with a couple of good friends and climbed during the day with another dude. Toproped for the first couple of days, then led two WI3's on Wednesday.







    Got in some mixed / thin ice practice too. Wish I didn't have to come home

    Great talking to you on the phone Arndog -- we should get out and snowshoe sometime. The weather was great in the San Juan's, but back here in Cali the weather seems to be all funky .. gotta love El Niño

            Guys I want info on any machine you guys are using for cardio.. I hit the gym often but no cardio.. Weights are fine and dandy but cadio is what will pro-long a life.

              Arcadi, I got an old racing chair frame and tricked it out with new wheels, seat cushion, etc. Soon as there's no snow and ice on the streets I go wheeling around. In the meantime I can "walk" more a shuffle, with well padded cross trainers on the treadmills. How much function do you have below your injury? I got mom one of those static pedal sets and noticed you can use them on a tabletop for upper body cardio.

                        Nordic cross country sitski for 2 hours today.
                        Yesterday - crutch snowshoe hike up Mt. Haughton (10,400 ft) starting at 8700 ft. I am nicely cooked .

                            It snowed alot so I stayed in my house and did tai chi / stretches taking it slow because my neck is bothering me .

                            Hopefully tomorrow I hope for no snow so I could go to my gymn

                              Hi Arcadi I use 3 machines made by Hydro Gymn Hydraulic resistance you set the levels using round knurled knobs 1- 6 settings

                                reverse back training. Start with cable pull downs, then seated rows, end with stiff legged speed pulls (deadlifts)
