    Van Damn-

www.wheelchairjunkie.com has a ton of users who have the Q600 and the Q6000 that absolutely rave about their chairs! You may have some good luck posting there if you have specific questions concerning the chair.

    Congrats again on Topanga!

You will definitely get used to holding her...but let me tell you...you definitely look like a natural holding her!

                Hey Geno,
I got a Q6000 about 2 months ago. It's a very nice chair, but if you do a lot of off roading (mud and sand and such) it tends to get stuck a lot easier than my Quantum 1400. The Q6000 all 6 wheels are on the ground at all times wear my 1400 only the two back and the mid drive wheels are on the ground making the 1400 much less likely to get stuck. For hard surfaces and hard grassy areas it’s a very nice chair. Nice electronics with 100 amp controller. If you’re near BR in the near future you are welcome to try it out. If you have any technical questions, on Wheelchair Junkie PM Mark Smith he knows EVERYTHING about the Q600 and Q6000.

I see on your new Avatar your holding your new baby. Congrats

I'm going the 28th this month to be measured for the 6000. A good friend of mine has one and absolutely loves it. Let me know of anything good or bad you find out Geno and I'll do the same.

I was impresed with the one he showed me.I could have used it for Topanga's arrival. My wife was freaked about the shooting at The Mall of LA.In N.O. yes but in BR is shocking.I'll let you know which one I choose.

                    Thanks again.

Those videos are COOL. We just had a snowstorm and I was pretty much stuck inside :-(

Any of you roll on snow like that?

I've had my metallic silver Q6000 with power tilt/recline since last November. It is the best chair I have ever had. My only real complaint is that the swing away armrests mount on the side of the chair on a bracket leaving a gap between my legs and the armrests. It's kind of hard to describe, but it made my wheelchair seem too wide for me. This was easily remedied by making some side panels which closed in the chair. I will see if I can get some pictures. It does not have the newest QLogic controller, so I'm missing out on the odometer and speedometer, but the LCD display on those controllers make the joystick huge. The biggest plus this chair has is its ability to maneuver around tight areas I've always had difficulties with in my rearwheel drive chair. If you can get the high-speed motors. You will be glad you did. People may try to tell you there is a trade-off between speed and torque which may be true to an extent, but it's still plenty powerful. Good luck.
