Hi all! I can’t for the life of me find the post that I saw months ago sometime last year where I thought someone said when they were doing their post flap recovery at home they were in their regular bed for all of it, and had no issues…obviously I know that’s against medical advice but please reach out if it were you that made that comment! Thank you!

Where is your flap going to be? If you can position in bed with the head of bed flat, and not lay on the flap at all for 6 weeks, you might be able to do this. If it is around your pelvis, you will also need to keep your hips in a neutral position that entire time. Usually this means proning (laying on your stomach) for the entire time.
