    Flip up tubular footrests?

I'm in the middle of pulling my hair out getting a new ZRA. I wanted the almost same set up as my current (2009) chair which means these footrests with an added cross brace behind my legs curving around connecting the down tubes. I can "kick" some to propel around my kitchen. I'm told they don't have those flip ups now. The CAD shows these huge foot PLATES! I'm not HAVING it! Anybody know anything about these tubulars going extinct? I guess most of you don't use flip ups anyway. I had pics of my setup back in 2009. Not there now probably.
Thanks for any help. I tried to look for them on the TiLite site. Used to be able to look up such on Designs Unlimited. Really miss that. Showing my age.

That hinge attachment that carries your U shape plate are but matched obtuse angle L brackets.
Any competent engineer, home or otherwise could create them.
Get quotes then see how much less a built TiLite less footplates may cost.
Maybe the differential is not too great?

Thanks slow_runner! Good idea. Wonder if TiLite would have the holes placed in the down tubes if I don't order footrests?
