    Altra uses a very wide toe box on their shoes. Their design is intended to keep your toes from getting scrunched at all, which is why the toe box ends up so wide. I used them for long hikes and trail running the last couple years before my accident and they really performed.

      New Balance 6E works for me. Try Hitchcock Shoes(wideshoes.com). They now have up to 8E widths.
