    Can anyone assist this young boy gain some mobility & independance?

    I came upon this thread on the Bike Forums sub-category for Adaptive Cycling.
    Can anyone assist? This is a big call out that will enable this youngster to grow and develop in a way that we can all appreciate.
    Mobility, support, guidance and as independant life as possible is key to thriving.
    He is miles away from my location or I would be helping out as I could.

    Unfortunately this boy (who appears to be in the USA) has missed the deadline for application to CAF (Challenged Athletes Foundation) for adaptive sports equipment grants for this last year (autumn). He may want to apply next year: https://www.challengedathletes.org/

They are available to answer questions, provide education, and make suggestions which you should always discuss with your physician/primary health care provider before implementing.       +1 for CAF. They bought me a really expensive handcycle when I was dead broke.

        Thank you Nurse, for the direction and you too funklab for your confirmation of the work this foundation does.
        I have posted a link on the bike forum thread. Digger should pick this helpful advice up; if not, I have sent him a PM to be sure ..

        Their location is Decatur. in Georgia.
