  • Help please with a type of replacement tire for an old Quickie 2

Hi, I am looking for some replacement non-flat tires for some chair wheels. It's a Quickie 2 chair with 24 inch mag wheels. (The wheels are originals from 1999 in case they have changed anything since then.)

Anyway, I was wondering if you could please recommend a type of tire that would fit on the wheels and is the non-flat type (not a pneumatic tire.) Thank you so much for your help! Melissa

I can't name a sold tire for you, but I still use my 1995 Quickie plastic wheels with 1 3/8x24 bicycle tires.
They came on my very first chair, a Quickie Revolution.

Go on IDEAmobility.com. Run by a quad. He'll have what you need.

Replaced my mother's Quickie 2 tires several times with tires bought at a bike shop...much cheaper than a DME. I just took the wheel to the shop and they ordered (and then mounted) the right tire for me.

Nice thing about those rims with bicycle tires: you can mount and dismount tires/tubes without any tools!
          All you need is air.

Thanks for the ideas/suggestions, etc. everyone. I appreciate any help with this.
I am going to have a bike repair shop put the tires on so no need for special tools or anything on my end of things and
I'm sure it will be a lot less expensive.
I'm going to check out that site too.
            Thanks everybody! Melissa
