  • Van part replacement, Braun

I have a 2017 Braun Chrysler Pacifica. I sit in the front passenger area in my Permobil F3. Where the standard seat would lock in to, one of the plastic moldings tat fits into the floor board has cracked. I was told by the mobility dealer that it was simply cosmetic. I'm sorry I don't have a better description of the part (or a picture), but I'm wondering if there'd be a cheaper alternative than ordering a replacement through the mobility dealer?

If it's a Braun part you're pretty beholden to buying it from them. But if it's Chrysler then I would call some used auto parts yards.

If it is a Chrysler part you get it at a dealer or as Rusty said the wrecking yard. But first you need to identify the part. This website can assist with that before you start calling around asking about a plastic thing.

I have had periodic paralysis all my life. I lost my ability to walk in 2011 beginning with a spinal block, which was used for a hip fracture caused by periodic paralysis.

After looking at that site, it seems likely it is a Braun part.
