Hi, I hope this is the right forum for this question. Where does one go to get trousers (regular or sweat pants) with long flys?
Need them to catheterize while in the wheelchair without having to pull off the pants. The current incarnation of USAJeans <http://usajeans.net/> is very expensive & not the family-run business I recall from a few years back. Thx fw

The trousers and jeans with the best flys are Rollinmoden. They're expensive, but I wait for sales. Fly goes all the way to where the seams meet at the lowest point in the crotch.

i buy regular and then my mother in law splits them all the way to the seam for me and adds velcro, im a quad

I think Darlene from USA Jeans has joined with others and is now "wheelchair apparel". I am getting some pants from them now, over the phone they have been good to work with.

Yup, their jeans will now cost you a Benjamin per pair. Having said that, I bit the sour weinie and ordered two pairs about a month ago. They were delivered in less than two weeks and are very high quality. Plenty of room to take care of cathing ( I use a Betty hook) and good fit. Darlene still works there and they were good to work with. I also use Adaptations by Adrian, but they are very thin material. Good for summer, but won't last long, IMHO. I'd like to try regular jeans, but I just can't get past the constant plumber's crack.......

i have several pairs of ability jeans and shorts, love them but i still have the fly lengthened.

I take my jeans to a seamstress in town and she removes the old zipper down to the seam and puts in a longer zipper. You should be able to find someone who sews in town. Usually costs me about $15 for her to buy the longer zipper and sew it in.

I wouldn't recommend this, as it would place the zipper pull right under your perineum, and could cause skin breakdown. Velcro is perhaps a better option, especially if you go commando.
