The Alber camber tube is needed because the axle length is different and it needs to hold the brackets the interface with the hubs.

Are they selling these now and is it possible to demo?

I heard they were having FDA issues?

I have a set. One crapped out and was replaced just as the FDA pulled the config software so I have one on Eco and one on default so they drive me nuts. I don't use them much though as I use a standing power chair for work so I can stand periodically (work bought me a standing desk - ironic eh?).
