Can I Add Push Handles to a Tilite That Was Made Without Them?

Can I add push handles to this chair http://estore.tilite.com/ecommerce/T...p?serial=53246 ?
Someone is selling a pair on one of the fb gorups at a good price and I was thinking it would be a good idea to grab them to have around. Would I be able to just slide them in, tighten the bolt and go on my way?

we won't really be able to help unless we see a pic of the push handles themselves. Are they TiLite brand handles? How do they attach?

DME hub is an authorized seller of TiLite parts so you can call them if you want to by something new. They know their shit.

These aren't Tilite, but they will clamp on to any backrest horizontal bar.

The answer is "yes" you can add push handles. You might have to change back canes too. It depends what is on your chair. Also, you might have to change back upholstery too....

It was suggested to me that with a little DIY I could add my quickie push handles to my tilite. My tilite has a curved back bar so I would need to use a piece of foam or tape to make the push handles fit. I think with the configuration my only option was built in handles which I did not want.

Yeah, measure the inside diameter of the cane on your chair and check for predrilled holes. Most of the push handles that I have searched for, the outside diameter is usually in the description.
