    Wheelchair pool lift

I was curious if anyone has gotten one of the wheelchair lifts (like the ones at the hotels) covered by insurance?

    Any help is appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Joanie

Certainly not Medicare or Medicaid, which also usually sets the bar for most private insurances. The only funding agency i have seen purchase these for home use are Worker's Comp and the Veteran's Health Administration (VA).

I know of a guy who got his insurance to cover a hot tub. But they wouldn’t cover the lift to get him into it.
      T3 complete since Sept 2015.
