Also, just a technical point, but that's not a manual chair.

Interesting. I can't imagine though living with that on a day to day basis especially in tight bathrooms and that sort of thing.

Is there a way to see this without *facebook*?
I have had periodic paralysis all my life. I lost my ability to walk in 2011 beginning with a spinal block, which was used for a hip fracture caused by periodic paralysis.

                Try this: https://www.digitaltrends.com/cool-t...wheelchair/#/2

I?m not convinced about the standing aspect, but the 4 wheel drive electric hub motors are interesting.

Thanks Gordy. This thing would be fantastic if he *reversed* it. It needs the big wheels in back and the omni wheel casters in front.

It wouldn't stand if this was done.

Although there are standing, manual wheelchairs. Levo sells one in the US (made in Europe) and then there seems to be a knock-off of the Levo on wheelchair88.com.

Here's the Malaysian one (wheelchair88 is in Malaysia):

It's less than half the price of the Levo.

I don?t see why (unless I?m missing something)...the standing function occurs when the wheels drive towards each other, and given all 4 wheels are powered, I?m sure it could be reconfigured to work with the omniwheels at the front. That being said, with wheels that size, the advantage of standing to reach something (their words, not mine) is negated by having to reach over a longer horizontal distance because you can?t get close enough!
