    Carbon fiber foot rest

I need a wider, deeper foot plate on my brand new Ti chair. My feet are size 13 and they keep moving to the right and left and end up angled rather than sitting flat. I thought I would extend the width and depth with carbon fiber by fastening to the top of existing one. Any thoughts?

Here's my homemade version made from an aluminum door kick plate from Home Depot. The nonskid is from a skateboard shop. Edging from Mcmaster Carr. It's mounted to the Tilite footplate with double-stick tape, still there after five years.

Where did you get the carbon fiber foot plate from? Was it affordable

I wanted the carbon pattern to match the rest of my chair (backrest, sideguards, rims) so I ordered a 10x10 sheet of carbon fiber sideguard material from tilite when I ordered the chair. They charged $360 for it!
You can get carbon fiber from DragonPlate cheaper than that. Thats where I got the birch core carbon fiber for my seat pan.

Looks good Wills, my motion composites chair has a carbon fiber footrest and I really like it.
