    TARTA back

Has anyone got a TARTA back on their chair? I'm about to get a new chair and am getting this Italian made back.
I have developed some scoliosis over the years and my OT recommended getting this type of back on my new chair. The backs are comprised of a series of adjustable aluminium staves that can be curved for individual fit. They look kinda like vertebrae.
    Pretty expensive, in Australia $2,000

We considered it for my son, as the concept looks good, but unfortunately the staves/ribs don't go far enough around the body for my son's purpose. He's now got a Vigour backrest (made in NZ, and that may be the model name, not the backrest, I'm not sure) with fairly substantial laterals. It works well for him.

ive had a trial of one and it adds alot of weight to the back of the chair, not only just for tippyness but lifting it in and out the chair, i know you can unclip it but that was an extra thing to do which i didnt want.
