  • power wheelchair into the back of a truck

Might be a long shot, but has anybody used a tailgate lift to Load a power wheelchair into the back of a pickup truck? If so, can you tell me the make and model of the tailgate lift? Looking at the Larin tailgate lift, but concerned that the length and width of the deck might be too small.

Only on a moving van. I assume you are not going to be riding in the wheelchair at the time?

Reviews for that lift are mixed at best on Amazon:

I agree the footprint looks too small to lift most power chairs...of course it depends on the chair.

Have you looked at this one?

I assume you are not considering an installed crane type lift instead?

I've tried a crane lift, didn't feel secure using it. I have seen the pitbull lift, a little out of my price range at the moment.
