  • Sleep number question

I've been using a single chamber sleep number bed for over a year with no problems, I like a firm mattress so I set it to 80.

The last two months about 90% of The time I have a golf ball sized pink spot on my hip. It blanches and goes away quickly.

My physical therapist suggested dialing down to 60 which makes the spot lighter but also makes my entire body sore. Does anyone have experience with this problem?

I don't know why that's happening. I also use 80 and sleep on my side all night without turning. Is your hip really boney?

On your back? I can only sleep on my sides, I'm thinking the firmness of 80 keeps my back straight.

No, I can't sleep on my back either. But too hard and my legs kick and I get a bit dysreflexic after awhile.

I used to sleep on sheepskin up under my sheet.

Now I have an EggCrate Foam Mattress Pad under the sheet.

I'm hoping to get a sleep number bed soon. I've been working on my insurance company. Which sleep number bed do you have?

we've got dual matress queen with adjustable base which allows adjustment of head and foot of bed. Also have the massage option but I don't use it because it's rather noisy.

I'm hoping to get the p5 flex top king with the adjustable base. How are you with the mattress? Any issues? I'm thinking about getting the cool fit foam layer.
