My wheels will be coming in on friday

Hello people. Just want thank everyone for helping me w/o even knowing. The VA ordered my Q7 on April 17 and I'll be getting it by this friday!. Good thing I didnt have to pay anything for it. man these things are expensive. No wonder insurances will only buy every 3-5 years.

Thanks, I'm quite happy! Im going to require plenty of practice so I wont crack my dome!

I hate to say it but even with practice there still is plenty of room to crack your dome! I've had my chair for years now and almost flipped mine backwards today after transferring out of the car on the driveway. Just set the COG at something reasonable and with time find your comfort spot where your COG is "tippy" but not "tipsy".
Most of all, enjoy the new chair! Upload pics when you get a chance (with specs!).

There are a lot of options out there! Do you have any specific issues with your back? I have scoliosis caused by ligament laxity, along with excessive curve in my lumbar area which is also probably from the ligament laxity. When sitting up, after a period of time I start getting muscle spasms and if I keep sitting up eventually they get so severe they pull my ribs out of place. Proper back support allows me to last longer before this starts, and also changing up my back angle and therefor exactly which muscles are working the most helps as well. That one is why I went with the Q7, that was my biggest need in a chair. A chair is no good if you can't stay sitting in it! And the result between the on the fly adjustable back of the Q7 and my Jay3 (with all its options and custom foam block support) was even better than I expected, and has allowed me to stay sitting up and spend much more time in my chair than I had hoped for.

Nice! I really like the black opal paint, I ended up going with the blue opal myself but REALLY like that black opal. I have natural fits too and they're great. The drop down push handles are as well, I keep mine down unless someone is actively using them pushing the chair. Its kind of funny, like when I had my roommate helping me at the fair he would pop them up to push me down the pavement, then inside the building I'd pause to drop them back down. 5-10 minutes later, he pops them back up to push me down the pavement into the next building... And I put them back down to propel around the building. I really like the aesthetic down, plus as a reminder for strangers (or friends!) to not try to grab my chair to "help" push if I didn't request it.

Whats with the roho cells against the back? Is that an actual product, or self made lumbar support? How much dump do you have, it didn't look like much but the pictures were sideways so that may have skewed my perception.

Yea, thats the Roho lumbar support. I really like it a lot. I'm not sure about the dump. Where would I find that info? Is it the seat depth? I like the black opal. My daughters love that it sparkles! haha. The flip down handles are pretty sweet and the Natural Fit LT's are perfect since I have small hands. I also got the froglegs with 4x1.5 soft rolls. They feel nice so far. I also got the 4 link suspension. So far so good. My favorite option is the flip up foot rest. It makes it a hell of a lot easier to get in and out of the chair!

oooo I didn't notice the suspension, I don't have that. I have the LTs as well, also tiny hands. The dump is the difference between front seat height and rear seat height. Its also called the squeeze. Like my chair has a rear seat height of 15.5, with a front seat height of 18 so my dump is 2.5 inches.

I'm jealous of the frog leg soft rolls, I've been wanting some of those. And also curious about the frog leg suspension forks, but some people love them some people hate them so I'm more interested in the soft rolls. (the fact casters are much cheaper also factors in...)
