Tips for electric chair? - is there a galileo concept chair?

Hello.... after sitting on permobil c300 for a while and my battery slowly dying on me was thinking to look for a new electric baby ....

I researched a bit and loved the galileo wheelchair or ibot concept but in reality is there a chair that could give the stair climb function and stander function?

    ANY TIPS from you?

    Dianka,
First, always wanted to say how much I love that name of yours.
Second, I too have been living in a C300 and seeking to replace it this year. I had a Permobil stander on trial a few years ago but I felt it too constricting having a bar in front of me all the time. It resembled my being in a kiddie car seat and I already feel stigmatized living the hi-quad life. Also, it's not a smoothe transition when attempting to stand: it kinda squashes you as it lifts you to stand. I constantly needed to stop to get shifted about while the chair was standing me, too uncomfortable.
Maybe the 2013 models improved on this feature.
Ultimately, I understand the Permobil product is still the chair to beat.

That combo died with the IBot.

And really to bad but I was afraid the cost was just too much for most crips. I never even considered asking for one but I don't need to go up stairs right now. One fantastic power wheelchair bites the dust.
