good, if you had a 13 yo kid you should be monitoring the net activity,. this guy is 41, not 13. the sopur ad is not targeting young ppl obviously. if you were that concerned why quote it.

I think that ad is great, and yes it is targeting young people. Shes not naked.

I don't have a 13 year old, but I know you get my point, was just interested in your response; which is pretty much "I'll be myself, everyone else watch out".

The way I view the internet is that it is like a shopping mall. Everyone is there and able to hear what you say. Open forums like this are like the food court and so I act and talk like I'm in the food court. I'd never say out-loud what you posted in the food court at the mall. I might think it.

If I had a family and we were sitting next to you eating when you said that out loud, I'd have moved my family and made a polite comment to you as we left.

I'll add to that; we are both type-A men around the same age. I'm not expecting a comment from me telling you to watch your language to particularly upset you; and any comment from you telling me to mind my own busines doesn't particularly upset me either. We're just speaking our minds.

Fuente, I'm not telling you what not to say. You do what you want.

                  my handcycle

This is the handcycle that I got off of ebay just before my vacation.

It is a Top End Excelerator.

Congrats on your first bike! You have many years of biking ahead of you, and odds are it won't be your last.

                      Since the O.P. has reached a decision, I don't think it is a hijack to ask . . .

                      Performance V. Recreational handcycle?

If you aren't sure where/how you want to use your bike, what do you buy?

                        I'd split the difference.

Get something configurable, to do either adequately, but neither to the limit.

Would you have an example of a brand/model that would fit this description?

FRH-1 is the one I had my eye on, though my competitive spirit has fled the coup, so this bike selection was more of a lean toward hobbyist cycling.

It can be reclined a decent bit, and have an angled headrest, with racing components it could be fieldable in a competition, but will be at a disadvantage.

IMHO, I'd go cheap to test the water. My first was a used banana frame XLT, and I learned a lot about my interests in cycling - which is to say I'm glad I didn't "go big". I recently donated it to the regional PVA Handcycle team (even tho they are sponsored) to help get a new guy some wheels under him.

                              It wasn't my cupola!

                              Good Luck!

What did you not like about the XLT? What did it lack that you seek? Do you currently ride? If yes, What bike?
