It's a quite a common modification here in Sweden - God know why! It's slow, all the doors are open, it takes up all the trunk space and what happens if it breaks down? you are totally fecked!

that just seems like a dumb solution
We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions.

                    Stowing

Neat gadget, but has too many areas for failure.

Concerning bank robbery as a post SCI vocation, I doubt seriously if any of us could make a swift getaway. If you do take up this career path, be absolutly sure it's a federal bank you rob as the fed's prisons are far better than those which are state run.

Had one like that in the back of my truck about 13 years ago, was slow as hell and if it's raining it's even worse.

As far as robbing a bank, gotta do the drive through window!

I am impressed. I figure the beeping noise could be disconnected, so that wouldn't be an issue. It seems like the measurements of clearance are down to mere inches.

This reminds me of the game “Fantastic Contraption” where people build ridiculously complex contraptions to perform simple (or sometimes not so simple) tasks. When you complete a level you get to see how other people solve the same puzzle.

I must say that i appreciate his iniciative and work, it takes a lot to have that done and working. Probably is not the most functional or effective solution but sure is a working one. I have seen some cars that the door behind the driver slides and the chair goes in, others have a box on the roof and a mechanic arm will grab, fold and automatically keep it.In the end the only thing showing is a box on roof, probably you have all seen it already.
It´s a thumbs up, we have to thank those who care and innovate, without them life with disability would be harder, immagine if we still were using wooden chairs! FWD is no fun trust me
                              Happy 2011 everyone!
