    Carbon fiber fenders

I'm getting a ZR and am considering getting fenders.
Haven't been abl to find much about them?
    Anyone have?
    Are they fixed or removable?
I would rather have them fixed but does this make it hard to load chair in car?
    Where would I get them?

    Thanks

Excellent for leaning on if you're just sittin in your chair watching tv. They're fixed. I have a quickie, but pretty sure Tilites are the same. Here's a picture of my new one. (the blue one.)
    I'm Sam.

TotoL1 has posted a pic of a ZR with fenders, maybe you can track it down.

I like to push my chair gripping both the push rims and the tires, so unless the fender had adequate clearance above the tire I would find them obstructive.

I can assure you that once you try fendered sideguards you will order them in all your chairs except if for quads that need to push their wheels like Stephen.

ZR fendered CF sideguards are the best sideguards on the world together with Oracing sideguards.

          But nothing it`s perfect.

Zr fendered are removable, if you`ve got them removable they make a bit noise when you go with your chair in irregular surfaces.
The fendered part it`s very wide and you can hit with it your hands pushing your pushrims.

So for make them perfect, i cut part of them for can fold the backrest and keep them fixed tighting the screws and sanding the fendered for make it narrow.

And of course they don`t make hard loading your chair in/out the car.

I'm a para. I don't need to grip the wheel, I just often prefer it.

I know you are a para, who probably never has his hands clean, i hope you never step on your wheels a dog poop.

Question for toto1. If yo uwere to cut the fendered bit back, would it be possible to push the tyres also?

Im a para, and usualy use rims. But it REALLY helps to push on tyres in certain situations like rain or big hills.

Depends of how you push on your tyres, but if you prefer pushing like that it`s better forget fendered sideguards.

Gloves + hand sanitizer. Never leave home without them.
