  • Tilite painted titanium chairs????

So I'm coming to realize that the specs that I got at Craig on my ZRA aren't quite right... frame too long, seat to footrest isn't short enough, footrest sits too close to the floor, front end needs to be 90 degrees and there's not enough adjustability to get my stf height where I need it.

That being said, I'm looking at ordering a ZR and on Sportaid's site there's an option to pick your color/finish.

Is it n option to have ti chairs painted?

I want an orange ZR with all black soooooooo bad........

I was interested in painted titanium as well when I saw it as an option on the TiLite site. I haven't see it myself, but am told by a DME that the finish isn't powder coated (electrostaticlly applied and heat cured ) like on other chairs, but is just added on somehow, and tends to wear off. Does any one else have better info about this?

p.s. Don't know why I'm getting double posts! Can someone tell me how I can delete them myself? Thanks!

Tilite have updated the order forms last January 1st.

It's possible get a painted frame in ZR and ZRA models (I think that in other titaniun model frames too).

On Sportaid online order form there is this option.

good question, I've never seen a Tilite with the painted finish.
there are 3 kinds: High gloss, Matte and Transparent (extra charge for this one).

                  17x17
                  front stf - 19.5
                  rear - 15
                  85 degree front
                  4 degrees of camber

                  17x17 stimulite xs
                  tilite sling back
                  24" spinergy lx
                  3" firm roll

I'd have to look up the other measurements like seat to footrest and probably a few others, but those are the main ones.
                  I was thinking...

                  17w x 16d
                  frt stf -18.5-19
                  rear stf - 14-14.5
                  90 degree front
                  4 degrees of camber

                  17wx16d stimulite
                  tilite tension adjustable back
                  24" spinergy lx
                  3" firm roll casters

I can't drop the front end down any lower because of the seat to footrest height... the footrest is up as high as it'll go and I'll start hitting stuff if it goes much lower.

considering your chair measurements, you're tall.
                    I'm 6'2" and you?

                            hi fuentejps,
I've ordered my ZR and I'm waiting the production.
My current chair (brazilian made) has 19.5 seat to depth plus my front angle with 80°. I'd like that my feet stay back as you said,

So I've got afraid to ask a 16" seat to depth. I ordered 18" seat to depth and 85° front angle with 4" soft rolls

Another detail, I ordered solid seat pan, so I can cut 1 inch or more and reduce it to properly acommodate my roho cushion. Its the same thing to ask a extra inch on frame.

                              yep, i'm 6'1"

i've had a couple therapists tell me that my dimensions are way off, but once they see me in my chair now they tend to agree more.
