    Rollx Vans

Anybody have any experience with the Rollx full size GM vans with a lowered floor? They appear to be the only company doing lowered floors on full sized vans and apparently no other full sized vans besides GM are able to have the floor lowered in them. I currently drive a 2013 Ford e350 with a lowered floor.

Sorry, not familiar with the full sized vans from Rollx. i have bought 5 minivans from them. There service is good and have had very few issues with their vehicles. Mostly minor ramp issues. got a chance to tour their manufacturing facility. It is quite impressive. Love their Pacifica conversion. Best vehicle I have ever owned. Good luck.

Whats the benefit of the lowered floor instead of the raised roof? Does the lift not have to go as high?

S a passenger sitting in a wheelchair, you’d have to bend your head to see out. For diving from a wheelchair you would have to have a lowered floor.

A raised roof = you can not go in parking decks @ hospitals. Also, I don't see a need to lower floor in a full size van. Lower the suspension 3" or 4", have a longer ramp or a lift, & a swivel/transfer drivers or passenger seat (which ever you use) if needed. Personally, I don't want to sit in a 400 lb chair held in place with a single pin (4 tie down straps is barely enough). And I'll repeat myself, demand that NOTHING be tapped into vehicle wiring other than 2 large wires ran directly to the battery or have a dedicated (2nd) battery for the lift or ramp (w/battery isolater which = only 1 wire to vehicle alternator). If more people made such design demands, more would be made like this.

Good to know that there are full size van options still available. After driving full size vans for 35+ years, I decided to go with a GMC Sierra truck conversion from ATC.
