This seems a little bit different. More like neuralink than a stimulation device:

is it just me or is anyone else SUPER leery of any brain implant Tech? I mean I understand the whole paralysis thing is horrible and unbearable but is a BRAIN implant only a dealbreaker to me? As I see this as the Tech that might not be easily avoidable, would anyone like to share their opinion on it?"That's not smog! It's SMUG!! " - randy marsh, southpark

I am confused. I am talking about the brain implant stuff ...I would rather not go the implant route at all but a Spinal implant such as ONWD would be palatable yet not ideal but the BRAIN implant stuff makes me seriously think twice"That's not smog! It's SMUG!! " - randy marsh, southpark

Previously the spinal cord stimulator was turn on all the time (this is what the guy had already) but now with the addition of the brain implant it only turns it on when he wants to walk.

Several links have been posted to this story as reported in commercial media. But if anyone is interested in all the details, and has the ability to understand which I don't, here's a link to the paper in the scientific journal Nature. Apologies if this has already been posted.

Old news hitting the news recycle to drum up more donations so over educated doc(s) can create a job (with a big paycheck) for himself(themselves). Insurance will never cover it so only the 1%-ers will be able to afford it. Nice dream but out of reach for most of us for the next 100 years. Oh well, back to reality.Attack life, it's going to kill you anyway
