Electrical currents have long been known to attract cells and several groups have report that they will enhance and accelerate tissue repair. One of the questions that we should be looking at is whether or not electrical currents attract stem cells into the spinal cord. This is a very attractive idea. When the earlier research was going on, we had no idea that there are adult stem cells in the body. Wise.
