I just read an article about a Johns Hopkins neuroscientist talking about how internmittent fasting will stimulate growth of stem cells and get rid of old immune cells that could be malfunctioning. While he doesn't mention if this would help spinal cords in regenerating, it reminds me of how intermittent hypoxic training stimulates growth of proteins that help sci people walk better. They both shock the system into working more efficiently and the intermittent fasting is safer, cheaper, and more convenient from the perspective of a sci person who tried IHT for a few weeks. This article explains the benefits and how to do it. I'm going to plan on this but as a vegan it'll be more of a challenge...
