Don't panic yet - we don't have all the info nor do we know if this involves epi-stim.

Yes lynnifer , I thought it was some scrutiny on another study she is doing, not the Epidural stimulation study so I took it that this news doesn't really affect us and is kinda inconsequential to us. Am I correct ?

I don't want to contribute to false info at this moment but she says a 'new e-stim' study begins this fall.

It's all moot anyway if Edgerton's transcutaneous really works and works better.

She's probably stopping this one, and as she says starting a new one because the device she was using is obsolete made by med Tronic and they don't even want to produce a device for spinal cord injury to actually go to market. It was strictly just cheap one time thing used for research that actually showed great promise simply by flooding the spinal cord with electrical signals

Maybe it is a good thing that she will use a better technology and money can be spent on new therapies. Hope it is not true that the way she was treating the patients

From a founder of the Big Idea:

..."will have an increased awareness and oversight to ensure that the study complies with GCP (Good Clinical Practice)....... We'll maximize our due diligence."

It seems that manipulating data is very common practice:

I don't believe for a second that Suzy Harkema manipulated data.

I have heard excellent things about her and don't think she would risk her career. She is already established, and very well funded.
