There is nothing right now I would try, maybe the epidural stimulation. Even if a cure arrives tomorrow, I believe I still have some significant hurdles to get over.

    1) its been over 35 yrs since my accident. How chronic is too chronic for a cure
    2) I have 3 mangled vertebra (T11,T12, L1) fuzed together. I am sure I will need some kind of orthopedic surgery to correct alignment and decompress the spinal cord even before any type of cure surgery.
    3) On the left side of my body, I have feeling down to about the T10 level, while on my right side, I have feeling down to the L1 level. I have no idea how a cure will work, if ever, in the T12-L1 transition area
    4) Right now, I really have no issues with my bowel or bladder control. I get the occasional UTI and that?s about it. My worry, is any failed cure surgery attempt would screw up current bowel and bladder state.

I would pay to get in the trial in Russia, sounds the most promising by far, then do the kumming walking program well using bioness for hands right away. after that I would do the epidural stimulator and head to project walk for intense full body physiotherapy. I would sleep in a magnetic molecule energizer (because why not it MAY enhance the cells), and my nutrition would be perfect. I have nothing to lose, and potential to gain.

Is there a way to get epidural stimulation in another country? Cuz I'd pretty much sell my house if there was a way. But yes, pretty much what you said is what I'd do

          a) One of them told a friend, who told a friend, who told a friend...What a SCI patient says he has recovered means nothing! I've heard people say they've got recovery from foot rubs! and that Panama center.

Give me real proof. Have the patients piss on command, have them shit on command, and have them ejaculate on command. Give them prick tests to see if they can feel it. Highly disgusting, but absolutely necessary to prove that Asia A patients have actually recovered these functions. Easy to do.

I hope that in a few months we will know more about what these people recovered.

          b) You have $$$ to lose. If you think $$$ is meaningless then send half of the money you own to me. I'll give you my address. Or you can donate it all to the Russian trial. They could always use the cash.

          c) Don't forget to eat blue m&m's after each meal

He made a bit of a splash claiming to do nerve grafts. I don't hear anything about his grafts anymore.

Do you guys know anyone that did or will have surgery there ? This is very interesting. Wonder how much nerve transfer or epi stim cost.

At least the transplant as curative therapy has a tentative target date, no restorative therapy at the moment can claim this. Any of you geniuses respond otherwise?

This is both physical and neurological. This waiting is retraining and rebuilding all of the coordination of the physical and neurological. A baby from time of birth is doing/learning all of these kind of things. A baby takes an awfully long time to become an adult. If magically our neurological system is "fixed", the things I have just stated are completely uncoordinated. There is countless number of things going on in our bodies from head to toes. There also is a visual component to this if you are not aware of that.
                          I really don't see that.
