I respectfully disagree I thought anything after a few weeks is sub-chronic after three months is chronic. The 2 year recovery time is just a generalized estimation for doctors to tell their patients. Seen many examples that recovery after two years happens and many that had nothing more return after 3 month (which is another generalized estimated timeframe) and many (like myself) that recovered no "function" sensory or motor after injury more spastically after spinal shock and drug haze past.
